Welcome to Keuka Lake School

Keuka Lake School (KLS) is an early childhood program for children with and without developmental delays from birth to five years old. The school is licensed and regulated by the New York State Department of Education, the New York State Department of Health and the Office of Children and Family Services.

For over thirty years, KLS has provided services to children in Yates, Schuyler, Ontario and Steuben counties

KLS staff consists of New York State dual-certifed special education/general education teachers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapist, school psychologists, registered nurse and several support staff.

KLS offers a daycare program for children ages 18 months-12 years and follows an educational based curriculum. Daycare service options include half-day,full-day and before and/or after school.

The school offers a variety of services during the regular school year, as well as during a six-week summer program. Services available include; an initial evaluation, special education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and nursing. KLS in collaboration with the Penn Yan School District, also offers 3 year old and 4 year old Pre-K programs.

An Initial Evaluation

Evaluations are provided to chilren ages 3-5 years.
